The South West Talent Retention Scheme exists to match people who possess engineering and technical skills with available opportunities.

We work with businesses operating in advanced engineering sectors in our region, such as aerospace and defence, automotive, marine, medical and manufacturing industries, and help them find the skilled local people they need...when they need them. We do this by providing an online resource that enables employers and individuals to share information in a confidential environment.

We also work with individuals who are under threat of or who have been made redundant and help them find their way to their next role. We use specialist career counsellors who have the time to listen, understand and help people back into work.

And because the scheme is fully funded, all our services are available completely free of charge. It's also supported by two of the most important industry groups in the region – WEAF (the West of England Aerospace Forum) and EEF, the manufacturers' organisation – together with a wide range of support agencies and partners.
